Crowned Sandgrouse: picture was taken by Avner Rinot After spending some time guiding birding tours at Northern Israel, it was time to go down south. I met with a very nice couple from Switzerland which were keen to do some birding in Southern Israel. We had enough days to explore many sites- Eilat, western Negev, Yotvata, Ovda valley, dead sea region and finally - Beit shean valley.
All of those sites have given us many opportunities to see many bird species.
