Common kingfisher. pictured by Ron Haran went with Ron Haran for birding and ringing in Judean desert- at Einot Zukim. The autumn migration had started, though its still very hot out there. Some nice migrating birds were captured, such as: reed warblers, olivacious warblers, wight throats etc.
There was also a beautifull adult common kingfisher that will migrate south in the next few weeks.
